The Global Offensive Force, or GOF for short, is an independent special unit not affiliated with any government. The existence of the Global Offensive Force only became officially known in the late 1980s when a hostage situation at the British Embassy in Egypt was filmed. Little is known about the founding of the GOF itself, but it is suspected to be one of the oldest special units.

The Global Offensive Force operates worldwide and consists of barely more than 1,000 soldiers. Membership in the GOF is subject to the highest level of secrecy, as the command staff does not wish to publicly disclose their involvement in military operations. In addition to combating terrorism, the special unit's tasks include the destruction of weapons of mass destruction and their facilities.

Numerous anti-terror operations, reconnaissance, and sabotage operations are likely attributed to them. Training is subject to the strictest secrecy. However, it is known that the GOF recruits its members from the most renowned special units in the world. Great importance is placed on integrity and an ethically and morally impeccable disposition during selection. In recent years, the GOF has critically observed the development of the Kryo Genetic Group, or KGG for short. Although it has not yet been possible to obtain more precise information about KGG's research, or even to prove the existence of biological weapons, the corporation has been classified as a global threat. The command staff has therefore decided to carry out a large-scale attack right into the heart of the Kryo Genetic Group in Mahlwinkel.
