YOUR INTRODUCTION TO DARK EMERGENCY

Are you attending Dark Emergency for the first time or generally playing your first major airsoft event? Then you've come to the right place. With this beginner's guide, we want to make it as easy as possible for you to get started and show you what really matters when preparing.

Dark Emergency is not a typical game day where you arrive in the morning, play for a few hours, and go home in the evening. You can expect a multi-day event with factions, missions, camp life, teamwork, and its own dynamic on the field. That's what makes the event so appealing – and that's why it's worth arriving well-prepared.

In this guide, we'll show you what to expect at Dark Emergency, what you should do before the event, what equipment is useful, and how to quickly find your way around on site. Whether you're coming alone, it's your first time at an event of this size, or you simply don't want to forget anything – this guide will help you start your weekend relaxed and prepared.

WHAT IS DARK EMERGENCY?

Dark Emergency is a multi-day Airsoft event that not only focuses on Airsoft skirmishes, but also offers a special festival experience. Instead of a classic game day, you can expect an event with various factions, missions, changing situations on the field and a camp life that is just as much a part of the weekend as the actual game.

At Dark Emergency, you don't just participate as an individual player, but become part of a faction and thus part of a larger gameplay. Orders, information, cooperation and orientation in many areas are handled through your faction.

One thing is particularly important: Dark Emergency is not an event where there is constant action every minute. There are phases with a lot of movement and intense skirmishes, but also moments where you orient yourself, coordinate with your faction or wait for new orders. It is precisely this mix of game, planning, teamwork, but also party and atmosphere, that makes the event special.

IS DARK EMERGENCY SUITABLE FOR BEGINNERS?

Yes – Dark Emergency is also well suited for new players and solo players. You don't need years of event experience or a completely optimized high-end equipment to have a great weekend here. Much more important is that you're excited about the event, prepare a little, and know where to find the most important information.

Especially as a newcomer, you don't have to figure everything out on your own at Dark Emergency. Through your platoon and your platoon leader, you can coordinate with other players, clarify questions, and organize yourself even before the event. The Airsoft Helden App also helps you quickly find direct contact with your platoon and keep track of important information about the event.

So, if you familiarize yourself with the event beforehand, know the rules, and prepare your equipment sensibly, nothing stands in the way of your first Dark Emergency. And even if questions arise along the way, you will usually quickly find connection and support – both before the event and directly on site.
